How many pets do we have?
We have 3 official cats, 1 puppy, and 1 unofficial neighbor cat that visits for meals! We always keep cat food in our car to feed stray cats whenever we go out. Our love for animals knows no bounds!
What's the story behind our car's name?
Our car is named GAKSE! When we bought our GAC car, we were in the middle of Duolingo lessons learning 'gakusei' (がくせい) which means 'student' in Japanese. It had nothing to do with the car, but we called it GAC-se and it stuck!
What's our perfect morning routine?
Nio loves coffee, and Khatelyn loves to cook. The best part? Nio absolutely loves eating what Khatelyn cooks! It's the perfect daily combo that starts our mornings right.
What was our first long ride together?
In 2021, when pandemic restrictions eased up, we took our relatively new motorcycle for its first long journey—from Makati to San Juan Batangas, passing through the scenic Tagaytay route. It was our first taste of freedom after lockdown!
What's our most adventurous journey?
Driving to Sagada! We navigated some of the most dangerous roads in the Philippines with 6 hours of dizzy zigzag drives through the mountains. The adrenaline rush and breathtaking destination made every heart-stopping moment worth it!
How do we love spending our weekends?
Playing games, chilling on the couch watching Netflix, and doing house chores together—from vacuuming to doing dishes to groceries. Sometimes we're super productive, and sometimes we just slack off. That's our perfect weekend balance!
